ABOUT MICHAEL
Michael is a professional photographer based in New York. In 2004 he took a working sabbatical in Hong Kong for 2-1/2 years. Many of the images featured on this website are from memorable journeys throughout the region during this short but rich introduction to Asian life.
Michael's editorial work has appeared in publications such as Vanity Fair, Smithsonian, Forbes, Business Week, People, New York, Consumer Reports, ESPN
and Sports Illustrated for Kids.
His institutional portfolio includes images commissioned by Barnard College, Fordham School of Law,
The Worldwatch Institute, Consumers Union and Girl Scouts of the USA.
Among his corporate clients have been Pfizer, Oxford Health, British Air, Continental Air, Neuberger Berman, Prudential and Time Warner.
Some of the publishers he has shot for are Prentice Hall, Barnes and Noble, Simon-Schuster and Random House.
Michael's photography has appeared in galleries such as The Center for Fine Arts in Colorado, The Capital One Corporate Gallery in Virginia, K-Kien Gallery in Milan, The Coastal Arts League Museum in California and Artspace and 12 12 Gallery, both in Richmond.
